Terms of Service.
These Terms govern your use of Policywright, a product of Native Group LLC (“Policywright,” “we,” “us”). By using the site or purchasing a document packet, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Effective August 9, 2026.
1. What Policywright provides
Policywright generates configurable business documents — a Written Information Security Plan and related security policies — based on the answers you provide. The documents are informational templates. They are not legal advice, and your use of Policywright does not create an attorney–client relationship. We are not a law firm. Whether any document satisfies a particular legal, regulatory, insurance, or contractual obligation depends on facts specific to your firm that this product cannot fully evaluate. You should have your documents reviewed by qualified counsel before adopting them or relying on them in any filing, application, or representation.
2. Your license to the documents
When you purchase a packet, we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, edit, and keep the documents you generate for your own firm’s internal business purposes. You may not resell, redistribute, or offer the documents or the underlying templates as a competing product or service. The Policywright name, site, templates, and generation engine remain our property.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the answers you provide, for reviewing every document before you rely on it, for confirming that it fits your firm, and for actually implementing the controls the documents describe. A document that describes a control you have not implemented does not protect you. You are responsible for your own compliance with all laws applicable to your firm.
4. Payment, subscriptions, and automatic renewal
The Policy Pack is a one-time purchase of $299 (plus any applicable tax). There is no recurring charge for the Policy Pack.
The optional Keep It Current plan is a subscription that costs $99 per year (plus any applicable tax). This subscription automatically renews. When you enroll, you authorize Native Group LLC to charge your payment method $99 once per year, and the subscription continues for successive one-year terms until you cancel. Recurring charges appear on your statement as POLICYWRIGHT. Before each annual renewal, we will send a reminder to the email on file stating that the plan is about to renew and how to cancel.
You may cancel at any time by emailing hello@policy-wright.com or by using the cancellation link included in any billing or reminder email; we process cancellations promptly and without obstruction. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid term. Any documents you have already downloaded remain yours.
5. Refunds
Fourteen-day refund. If the packet is not what you needed, email hello@policy-wright.com within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you in full. You do not need to explain why. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
A refund ends your licence. Your purchase grants your firm a licence to use the documents we generate for it. If we refund your order, that licence terminates: you must stop using the documents, delete the copies you hold, and you may not continue to rely on them or present them as your firm’s information security program. Download links stop working when a refund is issued.
Subscription charges already billed for a completed term are not prorated on cancellation. If a charge on your statement looks wrong, or something went wrong with your order, email us before disputing it with your bank — we will almost always sort it out faster than a dispute will.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SITE, THE TEMPLATES, AND ALL DOCUMENTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY DOCUMENT WILL SATISFY THE FTC SAFEGUARDS RULE, IRS GUIDANCE, ANY STATE LAW, ANY INSURER, OR ANY EXAMINER, OR THAT ANY REGULATOR, AUDITOR, OR INSURANCE CARRIER WILL ACCEPT IT. YOU USE THE DOCUMENTS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POLICYWRIGHT AND NATIVE GROUP LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR REGULATORY OR INSURANCE OUTCOMES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF POLICYWRIGHT. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO POLICYWRIGHT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Native Group LLC and its owners from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the documents, your reliance on them without the review these Terms recommend, or your breach of these Terms.
9. Privacy
Our handling of the information you provide is described in our Privacy Policy. We collect only what we need to prepare and deliver your documents, and we do not ask for or store your clients’ taxpayer data.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or Policywright will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
